Hi, I’m Andrea!

I’m a Healthy At Every Size [HAES] Dietitian & Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. I’ve worked with hundreds of humans over the last decade - executives to teens - to reclaim the relationship they have with their bodies & food.

But my body peace story didn’t start with them. It started as an 8-year-old girl who was just a little “too weird” & never felt good enough. And she spent a decade & a half scrambling for worthiness & belonging by giving any free moment and bit of energy trying to make her body small – disordered eating practices, obsession with food & body, constant self objectifying, over exercising, paralyzing inner critic… oof. Believe me when I say, “I’ve been there.”

When I finally came up for air from all this after grad school, I realized how much of my life had been wasted on this pursuit. Holy shit. No more. And this is where the healing began. And my own healing was the start of being a co-pilot on this journey for so many. I am so damn honored.
 
I know in my bones – all humans deserve & desire security, dignity & belonging. That is the foundation that all my work is built on. We don’t shy from the hard conversations. This is a community for the feisty, intersectional feminists doing our best to not be assholes. I can’t wait to have you join us.

  • 1-on-1 coaching would likely be a better fit for you if you:

    • Are looking to do specific and more complicated physiological healing (ie. gut health, chronic disease management, autoimmune support, etc.)

    • Tend to be more reserved in groups and do better with one-on-one conversations.

    • Need more flexibility in scheduling sessions. (Group sessions are held at the same day/time every week.

    • Are looking for a more individualized approach to your care and coaching that is very specific to your needs and circumstances.

    • Are healing from an active eating disorder or previously active eating disorder and want to explore coaching & intuitive eating in your healing journey.

    Group coaching will be a great fit for you if:

    • You enjoy the energy, collaboration, and brainstorming that happens in a group setting.

    • Are energized by other humans experiencing similar challenges and successes.

    • Are open to cultivating honest and meaningful relationships with other humans.

  • Disordered eating is a spectrum, and many people—including most American women—have it to some degree. This course IS designed for people who have disordered eating behaviors such as yo-yo dieting, occasional bingeing, and vacillating between restriction and overeating, without significant medical complications or high-risk behaviors such as gastroparesis, purging, or medication abuse.

  • At this time, we do not take insurance. There are many clients who use a Health Savings Account (HSA) to cover some of the cost of the program. If this applies to you, bring it up in a Connection Call conversation and we can see if we can make that work for you as well!

  • Not at all! The course helps you work through each of the principles of intuitive eating, so you don’t have to be familiar with them to start. By the end you’ll have an excellent working knowledge of intuitive eating.

  • Absolutely! This course is about so much more than intuitive eating. It starts with the relationship you have with perfectionism, worthiness & your purpose. Then we dive into intuitive eating & I've designed the course to address common issues with putting intuitive eating into practice, so if you’re already familiar with the concept but haven’t fully incorporated it into your life, this course will help get you there. The multimedia format suits a variety of learning styles, and the interactive tools and journal activities help deepen your understanding.

  • Intuitive eating is not intended as a weight-loss method. Some people may lose weight when they learn to honor their bodies, while others gain weight they’d lost through restriction and deprivation. Still others maintain their weight with intuitive eating. Weight loss is NOT a goal of intuitive eating or of this course, which is rooted in anti-diet principles.

  • Nope. All module content is yours to download and keep forever, and you also get free access to any future course updates

  • This is a self-paced online course, so you can start anytime! You'll get instant access when you sign up, and you can either dive in right away or come back and start the course later. You’ll have lifetime access to all of the written and audio content. The only time-sensitive aspects of the course are the online community (which is available to you for 4 months) and the monthly group Q&A calls (which are also available to you for 4 months).
